This Reel Change program explores Emmy-award winning composer and jazz pianist Kris Bowers’ musical voice with selections of his works performed with original short films created especially for this concert. LA Phil Principal Horn Andrew Bain and conductor Anthony Parnther perform the world premiere of Bowers’ new concerto, which Strangeloop Studios crafted a visual accompanyment for, projection mapped inside of Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles.
