Ásylo, celebrating the 30-Year Anniversary of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, is a new work by celebrated jazz pianist and Oscar-nominated composer Kris Bowers. Commissioned by the Monterey Jazz Festival celebrating on the occasion of its 65th anniversary. Strangeloop Studios worked with Bowers to craft an evolving narrative that focused on cetacean life-cycles and featured AI-driven Stable Diffusion visuals of the deep sea.
